Friendly cricket matches keep young men busy

Last Wednesday was cricket night in Saskatoon.

Fourteen men, most in their 20s with many living in student residences at the University of Saskatchewan, met in McEown Park on Cumberland Avenue. They picked teams. They hit and pitched and caught and ran. Although competitive, they play for fun. The game is more about activity than achievement.

They laugh. They cheer.
